As bbq the name itself makes one tongue watery and the mind wandering. The aroma of barbecued meat, chicken, pork or beef in a sunny afternoon can be refreshing and enjoyable. So to add more color and flavor to the roasted, cooked or baked meat in the smoker or grill we add the bbq sauce to it. Sauce by itself is a liquid or a semi liquid kind of substance that add color and aroma to the food. It cannot be eaten in separate. Instead, it is added to several dishes to make them delicious. The origin of the word bbq and its method of cooking are both quite obscure. It is said that the word originates in the Caribbean. Traditional barbeque method involves digging a hole in the ground and placing meat or pork with a pot underneath it, and its juices can remain within. The process then involved covering with maguey leaves and coal and set alight. This process of cooking in previous days took quite long hours.
